The 2023 “Rockin’ 80’s” Key Event was a huge success, and as Carol Leevers would like to say, “The best one ever!” Thanks to all of you who supported us with your attendance, your financial contributions, and your 80’s spirit, we are pleased to announce that we raised $100,000 that will help support students at Lake Region State College. Mark your calendars for October 25, 2024, our next year’s Key Event fundraiser. Plans are already underway!

LRSC student named New Century Scholar for ND

Carla Moros a student at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, ND, has been named a 2024 New Century Transfer Scholar and will receive a $2,250 scholarship.

New Century Transfer Scholars are selected based on their academic accomplishments, leadership, activities, and how they extend their intellectual talents beyond the classroom. Over 2,200 students from more than 1,300 college campuses nationwide were nominated. Only one New Century Transfer Scholar is selected from each state.

Lake Region State College Playmakers will take to the stage later this month for The Imaginary Invalid by Moliere and adapted by April Hubbard.

“The play is a comedy satirizing human folly”, says director April Hubbard.

Brady Stein named Head Men's Hockey Coach

Brady Stein, interim head men’s hockey coach at Lake Region State College, will lead the men’s hockey program now and into the future as its head coach.

LRSC Athletics Director Jared Marshall said Stein has been an integral part to the program.

“We are excited to remove the interim tag from Brady. He has helped us navigate our inaugural season as an assistant and as the Interim Head Coach. He has consistently impressed me with his leadership, organization, and ability to connect with our players,” Marshall said.
